It’s the first anniversary of Loudhailer Acoustic at Willerby Methodist Hall this month and to celebrate we had a record number of performers at last night’s splendid seasonal session.

Rich and I have made so many real good friends at the acoustic sessions and have thoroughly enjoyed everyone’s terrific sets every month. It has been a fabulous experience, and we look forward to the next year. There have been too many magical moments to mention, and last night’s session was no exception.
Rich always takes lovely portraits of the performers, and here is his gallery using his new birthday lens. Click on an image to enlarge and scroll through and read the captions…
Thanks to everyone who has come and supported Loudhailer Acoustic over the last year by either coming to play, or to listen, or of course to contribute to the delicious spread of cakes every month.
For anyone who would like to come who hasn’t been before, it would be great to see you there, either to play or watch. There’s just a £2 donation on the door to cover the room hire, and for that you get a lovely candlelit evening, free refreshments all night long and a fantastic range of music and spoken word performances. There is a great stage and lights and good acoustics. It’s the second Saturday of every month – the next session is Saturday January 11th. Willerby Methodist Hall, Carr Lane, Willerby Square, East Yorkshire, UK. Doors 7.30pm, music starts at 8.
Thanks to Chris and the team at Willerby Methodist Hall for having us.
Merry Christmas, Rich & Lou
