BBC’s Introducing Bowie Night, Blackbeard’s Tea Party in Goathland, Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies at O’Reilly’s, The Electro Acoustic Ensemble at Hull’s Charterhouse, Jeff Parson’s 65th, Kayhan Kalhor master of the kamancheh, the North Mississippi Allstars, Cody and Luther and the Reverend Sekou, Celtarabia at the Trades, Loudhailer Electric Company with Nick Harper headlining Filey Folk Festival and with Nick and the Wilderness Kids at the Adelphi, LECo with Dave Graney and Clare Moore at O’Reilly’s and Roland Gift at the Welly, Underneath the Underground being a part of the Fairview @ 50 album release. DHM releasing the second 4ourth 4loor album Past Lives and Dez Allenby’s We Sail Our Castles with worldwide distribution. Album launches from Martin Peirson, Jackson D and Urban Rain. Thomas Bertolotti’s wonderful six concert series Intimate Classics in the City at St Mary’s, another terrific Alex McCartney theorbo recital, Playing the Bridge at Scale Lane with the Hull Gamelan and sound artist Nye Parry and bridge architect Jonathan McDowell, Dexter joining Work in Progress, another year of Loudhailer Acoustics, baking the Red Guitars tapes for digital remix, Drointon Nurseries naming their new cultivar Primula auricula Loudhailer, The Vanishing 55 degrees North 5 degrees East at the Stage at the Dock, getting on board the Culture Train with Chris Warkup, with Richard Strange at Kardomah94, and of course John Stead’s Moments in Time in octophonic sound for Open Bridges. To top it all off Lou and her brothers Mike and Rob performed an incredible version of Fairytale of New York at their mum’s 90th birthday party the week before Christmas.
