Loudhailer Acoustic December 2019

Thank you to everyone who came to this month’s Loudhailer Acoustic, the last session of the year, and a splendid night all round. And here’s to everyone who has come along to play and listen throughout the year. It’s been another brilliant year of Loudhailer Acoustic nights, brimming with superb feel good evenings of live performances from the heart, and a lovely part of our lives. Rich and I opened the show with something quite new, and then Jeff joined us for an acoustic rendition of our Loudhailer Electric Company song Sing-Sing for Everything before we welcomed our guests for the evening, Gifford Rolfe and Joan Foye, Brian Williams, Maggie Graham, Steve Silver Fox Wardley, Roy Lyon, Roy Kibbler, Catherine Scott, Paul Sutton, Jeff Parsons with Dez Allenby and Kelvin Baldwin and a fine seasonal finale, the Gower Wassail, led by Dez.

Thanks to Syd Young for joining us for the evening and taking this gallery of photos:

So, here’s to next year 2020. It’s always great to see you at Loudhailer Acoustic. We’re booked in for the first Thursday of every month at  Back Room in Cottingham, all welcome to come along and listen or perform.

Keep an eye on the website and Facebook page etc. for details of Loudhailer Acoustic. It’s always great to welcome new people – come along and listen to a fabulous range of acoustic music, quality songwriting and some familiar classics from a host of different performers. Thanks to Paul at The Back Room, a lovely music venue with craft beers and plenty of parking nearby.
