I am delighted to have sung the vocals on a fabulous album, ‘Songs from the Fourth Floor’ by 4ourth4loor which will be released on Independence Day, July 4th.
4ourth4loor is the innovation of electronica artist Andrew Tomlinson. Having written and recorded the album with Dan Foster of Element Studio the final piece of the jigsaw was put in place when Andrew came to Loudhailer Acoustic earlier this year, and at the end introduced himself and asked if I would sing the vocals on his album. Rich and I took it home and were blown away by the songs, so the answer was, ‘Yes, for sure!’ We had a couple of great sessions with Dan at Element Studio and the album is ready to go.

Have a listen to Moment of Clarity…one of those rare moments in life when everything seems synchronised and everything is just as it should be and could be….

“There’s some serious potential No.1 material and the best home grown album from Hull ever… it’s fresh and it’s totally contemporary electronica dance music. Get in the car, turn it up loud, and head off to the coast. Take a trip through an album of uplifting songs but look out for the ghosts of love, loss and threads of the supernatural. The album flows from hard edged dance to an ethereal chill out close. Total feel-good, blow you away stuff.” Red Herring, May 2014
Available in CD format and on I Tunes from July 4th
There is a launch party for the album on Friday 4th July at PoP Art Space, 4th Floor, Princes Quay Shopping Centre, Hull at 6 pm. Get in touch if you would like to know more.
There are films for each of the songs, start with Moment of Clarity….
