Celtarabia had a blast yesterday at the Hull City of Culture celebration event. Princes Quay shopping centre was rocking on it’s stilts! We joined in with 45 World Drumming Network drummers and the whole of the Freedom Chorus in the parade from Queen Victoria Square to the Princes Quay Atrium and had great fun with the crowd in the Quay clapping along and belly dancing in the aisles.

Alan Raw and Darren Squires led the drummers’ rehearsal in the Creative and Cultural Artspace where I’m sure the Freedom Flame was flickering along in time to the refrain of the Freedom Choir ‘City of Culture 2017, City of Culture 2017’
What a top gig, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and thanks to Chris Boardman for a great sound.
