The Yawpers, over from Denver Colorado for a string of European dates, played a stormer at O’Riley’s Hull to a great crowd this week. Promoting their stunning new album Human Question they took the roof off with a massive sound, awesome guitar, high energy dynamics, thunderous drums and Nate Cook’s thought provoking lyrics and intense performance.
Loudhailer Electric Company opened the show. We had a blast. Thanks to Andy at Freetownway for inviting us and for putting on a brilliant gig, and to Darren Bunting at O’Rileys. If you’ve been following the Loudhailer Sonic Architect’s LECo Chronicles you’ll know that the barbaric yawping of The Yawpers combined with the Loudhailer Electric Company’s spacechants saved the galaxy from an unexpected crack in time. Well, that doesn’t happen every day.
