Well, it’s been a mega musical weekend! Rich and I kicked off by playing a cool acoustic set as part of a really ace line up at reGOCnition festival on Friday night, and closed the weekend with a storming Loudhailer Electric Co. outing on the main stage at Hull Folk Festival this afternoon. Yesterday was a blast with Celtarabia. We stormed the main stage in the afternoon and then played at a lovely Steam Punk wedding in the evening.

I was sorry to miss the last ever Loudhailer Acoustic at Willerby before we move to our new venue, The Back Room in Cottingham, but Rich held the fort, aided and abetted by Jeff and Karl. There was a great turn out of players and audience (and cake).
It was cool that Dexter opened the show and Effie brought the curtain down and here she is playing the last ever chord at Loudhailer Acoustic in Willerby MC Hall. Thanks to everyone, it’s been brilliant!
Next up we’re putting on Sally Barker and Vicki Genfan at The Backroom on Saturday night – it’s sold out and we’re really looking forward to it. The following weekend Rich & I are playing at Cornucopia Festival at Burton Constable Hall and looking forward to the 4ourth4loor films being screened in the film tent there too. And then… Loudhailer Night Moves…that’s gotta be a title of something! come and join us, first Thursday of every month, so, October 2nd, Loudhailer Acoustic at The Back Room, Cottingham.
