I was delighted to play at the preview day of Debi Keable’s inspirational exhibition celebrating the creativity of women artists living and working in Hull and The East Riding of Yorkshire. I played a set of songs I’ve written about women role models throughout history, including some of my own heroes, Joan of Arc, Valentina de Saint-Bris, Borg dudess Seven of Nine Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix 01, and of course, the first Federation captain to successfully traverse the Delta Quadrant, the unstoppable Captain Kathryn Janeway.
You can visit the exhibition of fabulous art from dozens of women free of charge throughout the whole of March at Hull Central Library.
