‘Night Train out of Paragon’ is the 8th track on my upcoming album of railway journey music and videos, ‘There and Back’. Travelling out of Hull at twilight: ‘He loves me, he loves me not’. The album will be released on November 15th.
This track is from ‘There and Back’, Lou Duffy-Howard’s solo video album of eleven experimental railway journey inspired songs, soundscapes and visuals. Illuminating a series of railway journeys mostly in Lou’s home county of East Yorkshire, UK, one of the ideas behind the album was to be experimental in a different way with each track. The album is a combination of songs, spoken word, instrumentals and soundscapes.
Words and music, videos, live bass, vocals and programming by Lou Duffy-Howard.
‘There and Back’ is released on the DHM record label on November 15th 2024, catalogue number DHM036, on all the usual digital platforms.
The videos are an integral part of each track, and can be seen at the playlist here.
