We Have News!

We have a new Agent Starling album coming out in spring, and the preview track and video, Jokul Frosti, is released today. It’s our story of the Norse mythological character, who embodies the cold winter.

Agent Starling: Quentin Budworth hurdy-gurdy and Lou Duffy-Howard other instruments, voice and programming. Violin by special guest Dexter Duffy-Howard. Composed, arranged and recorded by Agent Starling. Video is Lou’s edit of 1957 public domain animation, The Snow Queen.

Real instruments, hurdy-gurdy, bass, violin, cello, hypnotic drones, vocal harmonies & spoken words are interwoven with found sounds and manipulated electronic synthesized tones.

Fourth album due in spring 2025 follows previous releases ‘Clandestine’, ‘Constellation of Birds’, debut album ‘European Howl’ and winter EP ‘The Northern Lights’.
